Making Money with Linkonlearning AZTEC

How can I make money being an online instructor?
The pay scale for being an online instructor is based on the number of students that you oversee per course as well as your present qualifications.

How can I make money being an exam proctor?
Exam proctors are paid by the students who require their services. Proctors are paid the day of the exam. You may also earn $10.00 per student you refer to Linkonlearning, once they’re enrolled in a course.

How can I make money being a content builder?
Content builders are paid through profit sharing. We take the total number of available courses and split the profits amongst all the content builders. This ensures builders who create either mainstream or more specialized courses share equally in the profits of our online environment.

How can I make money being a facilitator?
The Facilitator receives a share of the profit sharing pool. The profit sharing pool is based on all monies received from student enrollment.

Can I work full/part time?
Yes. Your level of involvement with Linkonlearning will depend on how many positions you occupy with us and how many classes you teach, courses you build or facilitate, or areas you proctor.

How do I get paid?
Content Builders and Facilitators are paid by Linkonlearning. Exam Proctors are paid directly by the students for whom they proctor. Online Instructors are paid based on the number of studnet enrolled in each course.

Are there any other ways of earning money with Linkonlearning?
Yes. Refer a student to our K-12 programs and you receive $10.00 per student who enrolls. |

Can I work in my local area?
Yes. All work for AZTEC is done online, except for proctoring exams, which is done in your area in a public forum.

Am I employed by the LHUSD#1?
If you are an online instructor, you are employed by the school district. Exam Proctors, Content Builders and Facilitators are contracted positions, so you are considered an independent contractor.

What requirements are there for being employed?
To be a content builder, we prefer you to be a certified teacher with at least one year of field experience or a professional in the area in which you would like to build content with a comprehensive knowledge of the subject you plan to author.
E.g. Profession = Law Enforcement Officer -
Course = Criminal Justice
To be an online instructor or facilitator, you must be a certified teacher with the appropriate background, security, and fingerprint clearances. You must have strong familiarity with the subject matter you will be instructing. For the initial start of this project we are looking for Certified teachers but are also reviewing other applicants.
To be an exam proctor, you must meet Department of Education standards for proctoring accredited exams (such as being clergy, military, media specialist, certified teacher, etc.).

How much time will I need to invest working for AZTEC?
Exam Proctors will need to set aside testing times for students in their area. Most tests run from 30-60 minutes. Online Instructors need to be prepared to devote 3-4 hours per day. Content Builders should be prepared to spend 60-70 hours developing content, allowing for editing and revision time, and will commit to an additional 20-25 hours over the next 12 months to updating and/or refreshing online content they’ve authored. Facilitators should be prepared to spend 20-40 hours assisting with content development, allowing for editing and revision time.

What equipment is required to work for AZTEC?
- A decent computer: preferably one over 1 GigaHertz (pentium 3 or above) with 256 MegaBytes of RAM minimum
- High speed internet access is recommended for online instructors and content builders
- Microsoft Word or Word Perfect and email access

Can I be employed in more than one position at a time?
Yes. Assuming you meet the requirements for employment in each position, you can work in all four areas simultaneously.

Do I have to join the Educator’s Network to work for AZTEC?
Yes. In order to promote a feeling of community for all our educators, we do ask that you register with the Educator’s Network. We’ve carefully constructed a social environment for our educators and added many features we believe to be helpful for teachers around the world.
